From the Tobermory Distillery comes this expression of their peated spirit, Ledaig. A 15 Year Old Highland single malt matured in a bourbon cask, bottled without chill filtering, bottled with no colouring, 48.5% ABV. 
 
Nose: A bursting deep honeyed floral bouquet, toffee baked apples giving way to smoked meat with a coastal briny influence.
 
Palate: A resonating balance of creamy orchard fruits, sweet vanilla, soft caramel and notes of ashy, white pepper with smouldering earthy peat. 
 
Finish: Long and lingering smoky warmth with lemon and licorice mingling to reveal a salted sweetness. Absolutely moreish.
